How I Juggle Corporate, Creative, and Clarity Work

People ask me all the time, “How do you do it all?”

The truth: I don’t. I do what matters. And I’ve had to learn, over time, what that actually looks like.

For a while, I thought balance meant trying to hold everything equally — career, business, family, creativity. It felt like spinning plates, waiting for one to crash. Eventually, I realized balance for me isn’t equal weight. It’s rhythm.

Some days, my corporate role is front and center. Other days, my design clients get my full focus. And then there are days I close the laptop completely and let creativity lead.

What keeps me grounded aren’t big hacks or fancy routines. It’s three anchors I come back to again and again:

1. Boundaries

I used to treat my time like it belonged to everyone else. Now, I block out hour time blocks that keep me moving at my pace. This “focus time” is a non-negotiable on my calendar, because boundaries don’t make me feel boxed in. In fact, they give me room to actually breathe.

2. Clarity

Clarity shows up when I’m honest about what’s fuel and what’s noise. I’ve had to let go of projects that looked good on paper but pulled me off-course. Saying no is still hard sometimes, but it’s also how I protect my vision It’s saying no to the shiny distraction that doesn’t fit the bigger vision. It’s checking in with myself: Is this choice moving me forward, or keeping me busy? Am I doing it because it serves my purpose, or because someone else told me I should do it?

3. Creative Flow

This one is non-negotiable and sacred. Music on repeat, moodboards, designing, journaling. Even ten minutes shifts my energy. Creativity is how I reset when I feel stretched too thin. Muse Mode isn’t just a cute phrase for me — it’s how I stay inspired. Be sure to check out my Muse Mode Vol. 1 playlist for what keeps me in the zone while I build this blog.

If you’re craving your own version of balance, don’t overthink it. Pick one boundary you can hold, one clarity check-in you can try, and one creative outlet you’ll give yourself this week. Small shifts add up.
